규정 Rules

이 대회는 19세 이상의 아마추어 맥주, 미드 (벌꿀주) 또는 사이다 (하드사이더) 홈브루어 누구나 참가할 수 있습니다. 참가비는 무료입니다.

모든 우편물은 발송 기한 내에 배송 주소로 도착해야 합니다. 발송 시간을 확보해 주시기 바랍니다.

모든 출품작은 일반인이 구할 수 있는 재료로 만든 수작업 제품이어야 하며, 비상업적 장비(즉, 상업적 양조 시설 사용 금지)에서 제작되어야 합니다. 단, Brew on Premises(대관 양조장)에서 제작된 제품은 사용된 장비가 일반적인 홈브루 규모일 경우 출품이 허용됩니다.

BJCP 하위 카테고리별로 맥주 1작품씩만 출품할 수 있습니다. 예를 들어, 4A Munich Helles 하위 카테고리에 맥주 1작품과 4B Festbier 하위 카테고리에 맥주 1작품을 출품할 수 있지만, 4A Munich Helles 하위 카테고리에 맥주 2작품을 출품할 수는 없습니다.

대회 위원회는 출품작 수에 따라 스타일 카테고리를 통합할 권리가 있습니다. 최대한 유사한 스타일을 통합해 심사할 예정이며, 통합된 카테고리의 맥주는 원래 출품한 스타일 기준으로 평가됩니다.

각 카테고리에서 1위를 차지한 참가자는 Best of Show(BOS) 라운드에 진출하며, 전체 최우수 맥주 1작품이 선정됩니다. The Seoul Cup BOS 대상(₩100,000)이 수여되며, 수상한 맥주는 서울브루어리와 협업하여 양조될 예정입니다.

Best of Show 심사는 상위 수상작을 대상으로 한 2차 심사를 통해 Best of Show 패널이 결정합니다.

출품한 병은 반환되지 않습니다.

This competition is open to any amateur beer, mead, or cider homebrewers age 19 or older. Entry fee is free of charge.

All mailed entries must be received at the mailing location within the shipping deadline - please allow for shipping time.

All entries must be handcrafted products, containing ingredients available to the general public, and made on non-commercial equipment (i.e., no use of commercial brewer facilities). Products produced in Brew on Premises locations are accepted, assuming equipment utilized is on a typical homebrewing scale.

You can enter one beer per BJCP subcategory. For example, you may enter 1 beer in subcategory 4A Munich Helles and 1 beer in subcategory 4B Festbier, but you should not enter 2 beers in subcategory 4A Munich Helles.

The competition committee reserves the right to combine overall style categories based on number of entries. All possible effort will be made to combine similar styles. All brews in combined categories will be judged according to the style they were originally entered in.

The 1st place entry in each category will advance to the Best of Show (BOS) round with a single, overall Best of Show beer selected (The Seoul Cup). The Seoul Cup BOS Grand Prize of ₩100,000 will be awarded and the winning beer will be brewed in collaboration with Seoul Brewery.

The Seoul Cup, Best of Show (BOS) judging will be determined by a Best of Show panel based on a second judging of the top winners. After all, there is only one Seoul Cup.

Bottles will not be returned to entrants.

The awards ceremony will take place once judging is completed.

Places will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category/table.

The 1st place entry in each category will advance to the Best of Show (BOS) round with a single, overall Best of Show beer selected (The Seoul Cup). The Seoul Cup BOS Grand Prize of ₩100,000 will be awarded and the winning beer will be brewed in collaboration with Seoul Brewery.

Additional prizes may be awarded to those winners present at the awards ceremony at the discretion of the competition organizers.

Score sheets and feedback will be available on this website shortly after judging has completed.
